Thirteen years after its initial release, SliceDrop returns—reimagined for modern web technologies. The new SliceDrop is built on Niivue.js and WebGL2, enabling instant, browser-based 3D visualization of scientific and medical imaging data without requiring software installation. In this updated version, we also introduce seamless integration with Boostlet.js, a plugin system for interactive, client-side image processing. Users can perform real-time filtering, segmentation, and edge computation directly in the browser, with support for AR/VR environments and a live code editor. SliceDrop Reloaded is fully free and open-source available at SLICEDROP.com!
