Getting poster data...

As a “Big data” domain, high throughput genomics analysis can sometimes be challenging to explore and visualize. Massive amounts of data/metadata are generated through each level of the analysis “life-cycle”. In addition, it is sometimes necessary to learn some of the computational approaches to further explore the data effectively, such as learning a programming language. Here we present our “Bioinformatics Online Analysis & Visualization Portal”. This portal is driven mainly by R Genomic packages & R Shiny web framework. The portal currently offers RNAseq (“Bulk” and Single Cell transcriptomics) analysis, Metagenomics analysis, Variant discovery, and other data-preprocessing tools. It is a collection of publicly available R shiny packages, as well as in-house developed apps. The online resources are meant to provide an intuitive interface for researchers to easily upload, analyze, visualize, and explore their data interactively & effectively. This portal is already in use internally within NYU, and we are planning a public release for May 2018. This resource is a collaboration between NYU Abu Dhabi and NYU New York CGSB core bioinformatics teams.
