Getting poster data...

Data visualization techniques are providing new methods for the generation of interactive graphs. These graphs provide a better exploration and interpretation of biological data but its generation requires advance knowledge of graphical libraries. Recent approaches are integrating interactive graphs in the R analysis software, easing its generation and connection with this data analysis software. Despite their potential and usefulness, R provides limited graphical packages which allow their generation for bioinformatics and genomics applications. The present project has joined the analysis power of R with the interactive graphical features of JavaScript in two R packages (RJSplot and D3GB). They enable the easy generation of interactive graphs in R, providing new visualization capabilities, and contribute to the advance of bioinformatics analysis methods. At present, seventeen interactive graphics and an interactive genome browser are available in RJSplot and D3GB which can be easily shared online. RJSplot and D3GB packages are freely available online on http://rjsplot.net and http://d3gb.usal.es and on CRAN repository.
