3D imaging is routinely used in biomedical research to understand biological systems and clinically as part of diagnosis and preoperative planning. The images produced are often complex and difficult to work with. To address this, we have developed a free software package in Virtual Reality (VR) called Babel VR. Using Babel VR we have developed various analysis methods with the aim to be more accurate, intuitive and faster than traditional 2D software workflows.
