Getting poster data...

With the advancements in mass spectrometry, cell signalling can now be studied in unprecedented detail, generating data on >10,000 molecular events. Gaining insights and getting a general overview from these datasets are highly impeded by their multi-dimensionality and complexity. Tailored visualisations are necessary to address these problems. We developed Minardo - a layout strategy for such datasets inspired by Minard’s famous graph of Napoleon’s Russian campaign - to manually create two visualisations showing the signalling pathway following insulin stimulation and the phosphoregulation of mitosis over time. Multiple dimensions can be visualised in one single concise graph, and is now also possible in an automatic way: Minardo - The tool (coming soon!).
