NIH 3D is a 3D model repository dedicated to open data sharing across diverse disciplines. It is a replacement for the popular NIH 3D Print Exchange which launched in 2014. This platform caters to a broad audience, including researchers, educators, clinicians, and various stakeholders. By generating models from scientific data and accepting user-created mesh files, it welcomes a range of users with a diversity of skills and expertise. All models within the repository can be downloaded for free while providing contributors with options to license and assign DOIs to their submissions.
