Getting poster data...
Nacho Caballero (Boston University)
The R environment provides an efficient workflow to manipulate and understand complex data, but it only allows static plots to be generated. JavaScript is the language used by popular visualization libraries like D3, which allow the user to create and interact with an ever-growing array of charts. The price of this interactivity and customization is that the input data is usually static. The R package clickme provides an intuitive interface and allows using any JavaScript visualization as easily as calling an R function. This encourages re-usability and greatly expands the graphical and analytical toolbox of R users.
