Time-resolved crystallography as a tool to understand antibiotic resistance. X-ray crystallography can be used not only to solve the structure of an enzyme, but also to visualise the catalytic process in detail. It allows us to observe the dynamics of the protein and access all the intermediate conformations. This structural information can then be used in docking simulations to find a selection of possible new inhibitors, which can then be tested for their inhibitory effect.https://www.physik.uni-hamburg.de/en/inf/ag-pearson/subgroup-schulz.html
