In the VIZBI 2018 session on Populations next week, Daniel Janies from University of North Carolina at Charlotte (USA) will speak about Multidrug resistant bacteria (“Superbugs”). Genomic sequencing labs collect genetic data on bacterial pathogens called Genome Trakr, to scan for genes that confer antibiotic resistance.
