VIZBI 2012 will be held at the Advanced Training Centre (ATC), located on the EMBL, Heidelberg campus at the following address:
Meyerhofstraße 1, 69117 Heidelberg, Germany
The EMBL conference office provides general information for participants, a participants' FAQ page, as well as information on how to get to EMBL. For VIZBI 2012 participants, we have arrange a special conference bus schedule that will pick up from the conference hotels in the morning and return from EMBL to the hotels in the evening.Hotel
Accommodation is not included in the registration fee of the conference. Rooms have been pre-booked at the EMBL partner hotels, allowing participants to choose a suitable hotel at an EMBL discounted rate. Please contact one of the partner hotels before 6 February 2012 in order to ensure availability. Prices do vary according to season, therefore please quote the code VIZBI and confirm the exact price of the room with the hotel directly.

What type of room can I book?*
- Single room - a room with a single bed for 1 person only
- Superior single room - a larger single room or a double room used as a single
- Double room - a room with double bed ideally for a couple
- Twin room - a room with 2 single beds for 2 persons
- Half of twin room - the use of a single bed in a twin room (shared with another participant)
*Note: not all room types are available in every hotel.
Local Transport
Conference Shuttles Buses
A free conference shuttle buses service will be provided for VIZBI 2012 participants. The buses will go from designated stops near the hotels to EMBL and back, mornings and evenings. The conference bus shuttle schedule will be available 2 weeks before the conference.

Important info: Please note that NOT every bus stop will be used for every event. The bus stops for this conference are:
